Quinta do Barco is a distinguished property located in the heart of Alto Minho | Northern Portugal

The vineyards, aged between 15 and 30 years, benefit from the proximity of the River Cávado, which gently runs along the entire southern side of the property.

The winery, located on the estate itself, is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, enabling modern, precise and rigorous winemaking, always focused on the superior quality of the wines produced. Production is approximately 200,000 bottles/year but with a capacity for 600,000 bottles/year, with producer/bottler status.

Quinta do Barco is also a property of literary significance, being referenced in Eça de Queirós’s novel ’O Crime do Padre Amaro’ (The Crime of Father Amaro), which reinforces its historical and cultural value.
