Along the walk, you will pass by the silent mouth of the Vez, walk along secular sidewalks, cross the village of Arcos de Valdevez, cross walkways that take us to places otherwise inaccessible and with stunning landscapes, cross the Medieval Bridge of Vilela, pass next to water mills, get to know the mouth of the Cabreiro river, cool off on one of the several river beaches, admire the various man-made dams and fishing grounds, and finish the walk on the terraces of Sistelo, candidates for UNESCO world heritage, one of the 7 wonders of Portugal, all in full contact with nature. The Ecovia do Vez, which can be easily done with the family, has several access points which makes it possible to carry out small daily sections, and is even advisable given its extension. In terms of difficulty, only the final section next to Sistelo presents some difficulty, as there are some slopes, but nothing that is not rewarded by the magnificent surroundings.
